I am thrilled to of been asked to be part of this years Knowsley Borough of culture festival 2022. I have designed the official tshirt, will be painting a life size Owl and Pussy Cat for the Owl and Pussy Cat trail and will be running workshops with the community. I was also honoured to be asked to be one of the 22 voices from Knowsley.

I was so happy to have the opportunity to work with the wonderfully talented kids in Stockbridge Village. I ran three workshops with the kids from the community to create inspiration for the Owl for the Owl & Pussycat trail. I shared with them some of the techniques I use to create my paintings and it was a wonderful day all around. I then took their beautiful designs and used them as inspiration for the painting on the Owl.

‘This summer, Knowsley is hosting The Owl and the Pussy-Cat sculpture trail - a FREE fun, family activity for everyone to enjoy!

The trail is a celebration of Knowsley’s fascinating links to Edward Lear and a highlight of our year as the Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture.

Thirty-two huge and elaborately decorated creatures are located across Knowsley in parks, public spaces, town centres and other locations from Monday 20 June until Sunday 4 September.

Designed and decorated by artists with support from members of the local community these beautiful sculptures are spread across borough.’
