Chinese New Year Commission

I was commissioned by Culture Liverpool to design the 12 zodiac animals for Chinese New Year 2019. It was the year of the pig and each animal was going to be blown up on a buildinng around Liverpool City Centre. The animals became a trail for the people and visitors of Liverpool to follow culminating in a big Chinese New Year celebration. I designed them in black and white, red and white and colour and animated them for their social media.

Sadly some of the animals only lasted a few months but you can still see the Chinese Dragon in the Bagelry Liverpool in China Town, The monkeys in the Mayflower restaurent Duke Street and the Ox on Bold Street.

I loved every minute of it!
